We are unable to accept Cash Customers at the Wakefield Transfer Station until further notice due to technical issues with the Weighbridge, apologies for any inconvenience caused, updates will be provided in due course.
Due to ongoing issues at Royal Mail sorting depots, there are currently delays with some residents receiving their permits. Please take your proof of address to site with you and the team will be able to grant you access until your permit arrives.
Soil improver is now available to Wakefield residents from all of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, subject to availability. Please bring your own bag.

If your unwanted furniture is good enough to be used by others, donate it to your local charity shop. Cloth furniture must have a fire label to be re-used. Alternatively we offer a reuse container at your local Recycling Centre in which items are then taken away by a local charity.
