We are unable to accept Cash Customers at the Wakefield Transfer Station until further notice due to technical issues with the Weighbridge, apologies for any inconvenience caused, updates will be provided in due course.
Due to ongoing issues at Royal Mail sorting depots, there are currently delays with some residents receiving their permits. Please take your proof of address to site with you and the team will be able to grant you access until your permit arrives.
Soil improver is now available to Wakefield residents from all of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, subject to availability. Please bring your own bag.

Community Visits

The Biffa education team offer a broad range of activities aimed at community groups of all ages and types. Groups can come to our purpose built education centre or a member of our team can come out and do a presentation, hold a Q&A session or run activities.

Community Group Visits

Community groups are particularly welcome to join us for bespoke workshops, simply get in touch with our Education team who will develop something specifically for your needs. Children, young people and adult groups are equally welcome.
