Due to fly tipping and vandalism, the Morrisons Wakefield Bring Site has now been closed. The nearest alternative facility is the Wakefield Household Waste Recycling Centre.
Due to Health and Safety reasons, the availability for accepting Cash Customers may vary day by day. Please contact the Weighbridge Team on 01924 330 257 for updates.

School Visits

The education team offer a broad range of activities aimed at school groups from KS1 to KS4. Schools can visit us here at our purpose built education centre or, alternatively our team can come out to your school to deliver assemblies and workshops.

Primary School Visits

A unique programme has been designed specifically for Primary Schools, tailored specifically for each year group from year 1-6. The programme has been planned around the National Curriculum and covers a wide range of curriculum areas, particularly english, science, maths, geography and art and design.

The education centre offers a much broader range of activities than we can offer on our outreach programme due to our dedicated facilities on the site. Not only is there an opportunity to learn about waste but we have our very own outdoor learning environment for scavenger hunting and forest walks. Waste can destroy habitats and extract natural resources so we believe it is important for children to gain an holistic view of the importance of the 3Rs.
