Due to ongoing issues at Royal Mail sorting depots, there are currently delays with some residents receiving their permits. Please take your proof of address to site with you and the team will be able to grant you access until your permit arrives.
Soil improver is now available to Wakefield residents from all of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, subject to availability. Please bring your own bag.

Batteries – Household icon

Batteries – Household

Single cell household batteries e.g. AA or AAA can be taken to collection points at Supermarkets. They can also be recycled at some Bring Sites and all Recycling Centres. You can avoid using household batteries by buying solar powered equipment or using rechargeable batteries.
