We are unable to accept Cash Customers at the Wakefield Transfer Station until further notice due to technical issues with the Weighbridge, apologies for any inconvenience caused, updates will be provided in due course.
Due to ongoing issues at Royal Mail sorting depots, there are currently delays with some residents receiving their permits. Please take your proof of address to site with you and the team will be able to grant you access until your permit arrives.
Soil improver is now available to Wakefield residents from all of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, subject to availability. Please bring your own bag.

Garden waste including grass cuttings, clippings, hedge prunings, small branches, etc. can be put in your brown garden bin or alternatively you can take garden waste to your nearest Recycling Centre. No food should be put in these containers.
