Due to ongoing issues at Royal Mail sorting depots, there are currently delays with some residents receiving their permits. Please take your proof of address to site with you and the team will be able to grant you access until your permit arrives.
Soil improver is now available to Wakefield residents from all of the Household Waste Recycling Centres, subject to availability. Please bring your own bag.

Books

Books can be taken to any charity shop for resale or you can put them in the book banks at your nearest Recycling Centre. These are collected by the British Heart Foundation and sold on in their shops. Don’t forget to use your local library – this will help you to reduce the amount of unwanted books you have.
